I don’t know about you, but I often find myself dreaming up places that I’d like to go. Be it the just south of the Arctic Circle in Iceland or quite the opposite, paragliding in the breeze of the New Zealand coast, I’m constantly fantasizing about the next best vacation.

Luckily, in Europe, they make traveling a bit easier, and well, a lot less expensive. The transportation system is impeccable and affordable- plane, train or automobile there are so many options to get where you want to go.

So, if I had a chunk of time, some extra cash and a partner in crime where would I go? Well first and foremost, as I previously mentioned, Iceland. Iceland, Iceland, Iceland. I don’t know if it’s the geothermal spas or the possibility to hike on glacier, this place is coooooool. Ha. I would start in Reykjavík, hop on Tinder, meet a local, and see where it takes me. Just kidding. I would definitely do the first thing, but then I would probably head on out to one of the National Parks, maybe Vatnajökull, where you can find Iceland’s highest mountain, largest glacier and Europe’s largest waterfall. #Winning. Oh and don’t forget about the Northern Lights.

If I wanted something a bit more urban, a bit more fast-paced, I’d head on out to Brussels in Belgium. The capital of the EU, Brussels remains a staple, but it still has sort of an unknown/undiscovered vibe about it. It’s not necessarily the first place you’d go on your first trip to Europe, but it certainly should be. It’s got an amazing café/bar scene with architecture spanning art nouveau to 19th century mansions. It certainly will not disappoint. I mean… Belgian Waffles! I heard that Belgians dine out the most of the Europeans, and it must be because they have such delicious food prepared for them by some of the top chefs in the world. Now get out there and make some memories, much love as always.
